History

Tomskneft OJSC is a company that produces oil and gas in the Tomsk region and the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District.

Also, the company's assets include some relatively young fields:

Tomskneft fields are serviced by a developed transport infrastructure. Oil from Tomskneft fields is supplied via the main pipeline of AK Transneft, mainly to the Company's Achinsk and Angarsk refineries located in a comparative vicinity.

Main fields: Nizhnevartovskoye, Strezhevskoye, Chkalovskoye, Olenye, Sovietskoye, Krapivinskoye, Dvurechenskoye, Zapadno-Moiseevskoye, Igolsko-Talovoye.

Having acquired a %50 share in Tomskneft in May 2007 Rosneft sold it to to Gazprom Neft in late December 2007. Tomskneft owns licenses to develop more than 30 oil and gas fields. Besides, a subsidiary of Tomskneft, Tomsk-Petroleum-und-Gaz, owns licenses for exploration and development of two more sites.
